The Red Baffles 2 Pack is a combination of your choice. Standard sizes are 55cm, 60cm, and 65cm in diameter (approximately 22", 24", and 26") — custom sizes are also available.

Red Baffles are made in the southeast of Melbourne, Australia. They are easy to mount on a standard cymbal stand (we can supply cymbal stands and a bag at an extra cost if needed). Pictured is a baffle with the discrete logo which is generally hidden behind cymbal felts.

Cymbal and drum baffles are an effective alternative to a drum screen, designed to refract or redirect sound. Baffles can be positioned in front of louder instruments such as cymbals or a snare to reduce bleed into stage mics (especially vocal mics) and are relatively invisible on stage.

NB: Red Baffles refract sound and reduce stage noise but don’t make heavy-hitting loud drummers quieter — that’s a different story! We can help with that — contact Dylan: info@redcymbals.com

WHY Choose Red Baffles?
Made from high-quality 6mm or 10mm acrylic (PMMA), our baffles are far superior to standard flimsy 3mm acrylic and can’t be purchased at a regular hardware store. The thicker material provides a higher level of sound refraction and greater durability.

Why different thicknesses?
Thickness is personal preference, however thicker material provides greater sound refraction and durability. We don’t make 3mm baffles as they are too thin and prone to bending.

How many baffles?
We recommend a minimum of 3–4 baffles for a standard drum setup (4–5 piece kit with hi-hats, 2 crashes, and a ride).

They ship with a removable covering/film which can be peeled off prior to use.

How to clean?
Wipe fingerprints off gently with a microfibre cloth and soapy water. DO NOT USE WINDEX or other chemical-based cleaners as they may cause the acrylic to cloud or lose transparency.

Please allow 7–10 business days for manufacture and shipping (allowing for public holidays). We will always work to get them to you sooner.

Warranty & Returns:
Red Baffles are covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects from reasonable use. This does not cover scratches or clouding from improper cleaning or care. Baffles can be returned within 14 days for a refund or store credit, provided they are undamaged and the outer covering has not been peeled off. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.

International Shipping:
We ship internationally. Any customs import duties or taxes levied by your country are the buyer’s responsibility. Please get in touch before ordering for a shipping quote outside of Australia, as costs may be higher than the initial estimate provided by the website.
